I took pictures of tattoos of five different people. All of the people are either family or close friends. I don't have any tattoos myself but I do find tattoos fascinating. I find Tattoos to be a form of art and a form of poetry. They all express different personalities, emotions, and memories. Tattoos are fascinating because they all tell different stories and serve a specific purpose for each individual. An example of this would be the "Floridan Turtle", by looking at it from a simple perspective it just seems like an average image of a turtle. The tattoo is on my brother in law and he got the tattoo when we went to Florida. He had such a great time that he decided to get a tattoo to remind him of this trip. This shows how tattoos can connect emotions and memories into a story with a simple image.
Tattoos is a very interesting topic! A great way to be a "fly-on-the-wall" and capture some incredible body art. Would have been really cool if you could have got a picture in-mid tattooing process. Otherwise great pics.
