Abakar Bechir: Apartment styles in "Economy of Scale".

The style of human way of living.

A beautiful Design of apartments

Well Designed Human Shelter

Just another design of apartment style.

The apartments design and the landscaping
Overall idea on the work:
It is very interesting that we can find apartment style or design that almost look alike in many different locations of the city. That reminds me of the economic term, "The Economy of scale". It seems to me that we are producing big projects like apartments in a economical scale way. The more we produce things of the same type and the more we can sell them, the more profitable we will me. This philosophy pushed me to capture those pictures as well as documenting their similarities. The human way of living is almost the same us those products produced by companies in an exponential way, not to meet quality necessarily but to be able to cut cost and gain profit. Those apartments show just that. In the same idea, I believe that is the reason why the Campbell Soup work of art by Andy Warhol was intended for in order to show the scale at which things are produced. Though in this case, I am more interested by the design of the apartments, their style and the likeliness that they share regardless of their location.
